Chrysler To Produce “Final Edition” Dodge Viper

by Dodge in the News on April 7, 2010

Chrysler will soon build the final units of the Dodge Viper, and it’s really anyone’s guess what’s in store when the next-generation arrives. Although it will certainly be sad to see this American supercar enter a temporary hiatus, Chrysler is introducing the Dodge Viper SRT10 “Final Edition” for one last hurrah to commemorate the end of an era.

Available in either a coupe, roadster, and even more aggressive ACR configuration, the Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition will receive a completely unique Graphite Clear Coat paint with black and red stripes running along the roof and hood. These models will also receive six-spoke wheels on the coupe and roader or five-spoke wheels on the ACR model.

Inside, the Final Edition model will receive eye-catching red accents on the seats and along the gauge cluster. The dash will also feature a plague indicating the model number.

Power will be supplied by the familiar 8.4-liter V10 engine producing 600 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque. Only 50 Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition models will be built with production is slated to begin in early summer.
